Self Adhesive Waterproofing Membrane- Osaka 3000X

Description

Osaka 3000Xis a self-adhesive bituminous waterproofing membrane self-protected with a cross-laminated HDPE film. It consists of a very adhesive bituminous compound that remains adhesive even at low temperatures. The cross-laminated high-density polyethylene film gives the membrane characteristics of dimensional stability and ensures uniform reaction to elongation stresses in a longitudinal and transversal direction. This membrane has been studied and developed for the specific waterproofing of vertical walls, foundations and basements and all applications where there is required fast techniques that ensure secure results with contained costs.

Applications
Waterproofing in general, waterproofing of foundations and horizontal and vertical underground structures; waterproofing in atmospheres not compatible with the use of free fire flames (i.e. factories or warehouses were flammable chemical agents are produced or stored).

Surface Preparation
The Surface should be clean, dry, smooth and dust-free. If the surface is porous, apply a coat of Solvent Based Primer in a quantity of + / – 250 g / sq. m. The use of Bituminous Primer is in any case advisable, and the manufacturer’s instructions must be followed.

Installation
To achieve the best result, proceed as follows: always start by laying the rolls from the lowest point and work upwards, being careful not to create counter-gradient overlaps. The membrane must overlap the edge by at least 6 / 8 cms and on the top by at least 15 cms. After installation, press the membrane well, being very careful about details such as corners, edges, connections and overlap.

Storage
The quality and the characteristics of materials remain unaltered for a long period of time.
The product is however best used within 12 months. The product must be correctly stored in cool and dry premises, at or below 25°C room temperature. It is not affected by Frost.
Osaka 3000X is not suitable for withstanding pedestrian and vehicle traffic.
